Grew up in New York, studied engineering at TCU - met my co-founder Ricky there. Worked in ad-tech in NY, then moved to San Diego and transitioned into SMB lending. That changed everything. I talked to business owners every day trying to figure out if they could afford to keep going. One call stuck with me - a woman bouncing between her bank app, QuickBooks, and spreadsheets just trying to piece together where she stood. She wasn't bad with money. She just had no single place that gave her the answer. I watched that thousands of times. Businesses went under not because they were broken - but because by the time they saw the cash problem, it was too late. Ricky and I kept asking: the data exists across their systems - why is nobody connecting it? That's why we built Fynso.
