I've been a Total Commander user for 20 years and every time I switched to macOS or picked up an iPad, I missed that keyboard-first, two-pane workflow. Finder is fine for casual use, but once you manage files across SFTP, S3, and 3 cloud drives, it falls apart fast. So I built EmpiricCommander.
