About

I’ve spent years working in professional audio/video systems, where reliability and clean workflows are everything. When something is inefficient, you feel it immediately. Photography has always been my parallel world — slower, more personal. But I started noticing the same friction there: too much complexity before the creative work even begins. So I began building small Mac apps to solve very specific problems in my own workflow. Not platforms. Not ecosystems. Just focused tools that remove noise and respect time. I care about clarity over features, discipline over automation, and software that helps you decide before you create.

Last Roll – Keyboard-driven photo culling for photographers who hate bloat

Hey Product Hunt

Like most photographers, I kept putting off culling. Not because I didn't enjoy shooting, but because sitting down to go through 400 RAW files after a session felt like homework.

I tried a bunch of tools. Most of them do too much. I just wanted something that gets out of the way and lets me move fast.

So I built Last Roll, a native macOS app focused entirely on one thing: going through your photos quickly and picking the keepers.

LastRoll - Keep, Reject, Move on.

Last Roll is a focused Mac app for fast photo culling. Open a folder and move through your RAW files with a keyboard-driven workflow built for speed and clarity. Real-time focus peaking helps verify sharpness instantly, and export ingest copies and renames only the images you keep. No cloud, no AI, no tracking — everything stays on your Mac.
