Tools for intentional digital life

About

Hi, I’m Glenn, an indie maker from Seoul building thoughtful tools at the intersection of AI, digital wellbeing, and human agency. I created Sanctum, a Chrome extension that helps people pause before slipping into mindless YouTube loops. Rather than blocking, judging, or controlling users, Sanctum creates a small space between impulse and action so they can choose more intentionally. I’m interested in calm technology, humane product design, local-first AI, and practical ways to turn personal insight into useful products. I’m here to learn from other makers, share what I’m building, and connect with people creating technology that respects human attention.

SecondFlame - An AI dialogue game about human agency and choice

SecondFlame is a short AI-driven philosophical game about human agency and choice. Instead of selecting preset dialogue options, you speak directly with AI characters in your own words. Your responses shape their reactions and the story that unfolds. Through encounters with forgotten beings and symbolic adversaries, SecondFlame asks: as artificial intelligence grows more powerful, what remains uniquely ours to choose?

Sanctum - Pause before YouTube pulls you into another loop

Sanctum is a Chrome extension that helps you use YouTube intentionally instead of getting pulled into recommendations, autoplay, and Shorts. It adds gentle friction through pause prompts, viewing intentions, mindful breaks, and short reflections. The goal is not to block YouTube, but to help you notice when your original intention starts to drift. For this OpenAI Day release, GPT-5.6 helped refine the UX, copy, and interaction flows.

What usually pulls you into an unintended YouTube session?

Hi Product Hunt!

I built Sanctum after noticing that my problem wasn t YouTube itself. It was the moment when one intentional video quietly turned into 30 minutes of recommendations, Shorts, or aimless browsing.

Sanctum doesn t completely block YouTube. Instead, it adds small pauses at the moments when you re most likely to slip into autopilot, so you can decide whether you actually want to keep watching.

I d love to hear about your experience:
