I'm excited to be here amongst a community of entrepreneurs and tool builders! For the last 6 months, I have been working on an interactive book to teach children about entrepreneurship and the value of creative effort. Making Ten Dollar Adventure has not just been an effort in authoring a story but one that involved writing my own tools (hello Elisp!) and leveraging modern technologies to provide a rich experience for readers. For example, readers have an option to turn on an arithmetic explainer in-story to learn the math behind earning and spending money. The audiobook is designed to play one of 252 possible storylines and has an togglable intermission for reflection or discussion. I'm launching the book next week and look forward to your feedback and support!

The idea came from seeing how often families struggle with scattered information, fragmented communication, and overwhelming decisions during one of life s most difficult times. Our goal was to build a product that applies thoughtful technology where it is needed most, without complicating what should be a human and compassionate process.
