Long-time Pacific Northwest denizen, Oregon growing up, now grown and retired in Idaho. I've worked as firefighter (wildland and urban) and emergency medical technician, school teacher (primary and junior high), sales representative (wine tank manufacturer), air monitoring technician (helping to destroy chemical weapons), self-storage business manager (never again!), door assembler, and as a mentor for disabled workers. Along the way I've grabbed hold of HTML/CSS and Markdown as enjoyable hobbies. I'm obsessive about writing things down, making lists, checking things twice, calendars, counting and collecting words, wisdom and ways of helping others. I'm also learning to read and write Welsh.
