I was mostly happy with the actual service, aside from a couple of basic features that weren't there and that I had to work around. Then my workplace introduced an in-house alternative that they wanted everyone to use. Trying to cancel your ngrok subscription is nearly impossible. I had an annual subscription but stopped using the product around March. At that point I went in to cancel the subscription but it causes an error stating that annual subscriptions can only be cancelled within a month of when they renew. You also can't remove payment methods until after you cancel. I don't see a legitimate reason to do this. It seems to me that they're hoping people forget to cancel in that 30 day window. As of September I still have 2 more weeks to wait. And of course, if I were to forget until November, it would renew and the timer would start all over again. Really gross business decision.
