I always found creating these symmetric grids fascinating. I was introduced to this game as a child where I was give 16 letters and asked to make a grid that reads the same both ways (in rows and columns). With the advent of Wordle, I thought it was a good candidate for a daily web based word game and an app, so I digitized the game and gave it the Wordle coloring.

I'm always on the hunt for new word games. Like a hell lot of other people, I'm hooked onto Wordle and many of its variants. This one is innovative for sure!

A four word grid is a grid that has four four-letter words that read exactly the same horizontally and vertically. Each day you get a new grid with 16 letters scrambled and you need to swap the letters to form the correct grid with a max of 15 swaps
