I've been following Owlet for over a year now and for as fantastic as their booty is, their team is even better. Really smart guys.

I'm a long time Streak user, the team behind InboxSDK and can't wait to see what devs do with the webmail experience. Question: Will this be a consumer marketplace or more for enterprises to build apps for their own teams? @garrytan @aloo

Just had my first wake up call this morning. It was really fun. A girl from Sweden called. Neither of us knew what to say. But it got me up and it was really human.

@joshelman We connected. It was pretty clear from the get go. Startups are about great partnerships. With recruits and team members, with the industry you are in, with platforms, with specific journalists who believe early on. All partnerships. And investors are an important part of that.

@jtzou The doctor's came even before we offered to pay them. It ended up being a pretty noble pursuit for the doctors we targeted. We offer doctors, who are moms, a way to help moms who really need it. It's fulfilling work. We now offer competitive wages to our doctors for their time. (@jtriest thanks!)

It also highlights the fact that our product isn't really an app, although longer term that will be a little less true, today our product is a relationship with a doctor.

MessageMe really was the whole stack for our first 6 months.

First Opinion is, at it's most basic elements, a messaging platform. To help us prove out the idea and validate the service, we matched users with doctors on an existing messaging platform (MessageMe) all before writing a single line of code.
