I’m Mauricio, a sociologist and university lecturer in research methodology. I’ve worked for years on qualitative and quantitative research, strategic planning and public policy evaluation. I build tools that make everyday work with documents and data simpler. Many of HILOUP’s tools come from problems I ran into in my own research and consulting work. I’m interested in exploring how AI can solve practical problems in my daily work, through an approach where human and model reasoning complement each other: the model explores and proposes, the human checks and decides.
