I wrote this app to scratch a personal itch. I was visiting the Prado Museum in Madrid, taking photos of the wonderful paintings there. And they kept coming out crooked. It was frustrating, so I designed a computer vision algorithm that could detect paintings and straighten them. Turns out it works with powerpoint slides and book covers too.
