In CRM space, most of the small niches are already packed with competitors. You have to be very creative to find an opportunity.

I have worked with MLM startup, and for them affiliate program was the main marketing channel. So obviously they had it at the beginning.
In most cases, an affiliate program is not where you start, though. There are easier ways to get early customers. But it all depends on what customers you are targetting.
Should you start an affiliate program upon launch for a B2b SaaS ?
