Dutch journalist. For the past 15 years I mostly lived and worked abroad: in the Balkans, Ukraine and the Middle East, for NOS, BNR and VRT among others. I make reportage, photographs, podcasts and documentaries. I built Modotti because I was looking for a home for my projects, and couldn't find one.

Modotti - Notes and tasks in one calm place, in plain Markdown

Modotti brings notes and tasks together on Mac and iPhone while keeping your work in ordinary Markdown files, in a folder you choose. No Modotti account, no proprietary sync. On Mac, an optional connector lets you decide what Claude Desktop or Codex may read and write, per folder, with a local log, and you can revoke it again.
