What's your relationship with WhatsApp?

When I first started using WhatsApp some seven years ago, I noticed that most Americans do not use it. I thought to myself, "Strange," after all, the USA is the birthplace of this now ubiquitous app. Up until relatively recently, those Americans that did use it typically only used it when they or their family/friends were travelling overseas for the free calls/video calls.
