A Choplifter tribute, 40 years late...

I built this because nothing had scratched that itch since 1982.

Choplifter understood something most rescue games forget: the tension isn't in the shooting, it's in the stopping. Anyone can strafe a tank. Setting your aircraft on the ground, in the open, and waiting while eight people sprint toward you that's the whole game. Everything in Rotor Rescue is built to make that landing cost something.

Fifteen sectors, hand-shaped rather than generated: dunes, a night crossing, a frozen harbour, a flooded terminus. Sector 13 flies you inside a mountain through a rock entrance. Sector 14 drops you down a tunnel into the dark.
