Hey! I’m Luke Barber, creator of SilentChef—a recipe manager and meal planner app built out of frustration and a love for good food (and clean design). I was fed up with messy recipe sites, constant ads, broken links, and terrible OCR tools. Nothing out there felt simple, smart, or reliable—so I built my own. SilentChef is clean, fast, and built for real-life cooking: snap a recipe, import with one tap, plan your meals, and generate shopping lists without the noise. It’s 100% free, with no ads or paywalls. I built it solo—design, code, and all—fueled by caffeine and ChatGPT (my cofounder who never sleeps). Got ideas or feedback? I’d love to hear from you!
