I build diVenuo, booking software for small businesses in Argentina, made vertical by vertical. Barbershops, hair salons, tattoo studios, and dog groomers each get their own version of it instead of one generic calendar. I wrote it end to end, on my own. The best product decisions I've made were not mine. A dog groomer once told me she had switched off a feature I was sure was great, and that is how a problem surfaced that nobody was ever going to file. Almost everything the product does today started with an owner telling me what was missing. By day I'm a cybersecurity architect, which is where I learned to care about the parts nobody sees. Mostly here to learn from people building things I couldn't. If you're working on something in LatAm, I'd like to hear about it.
