I built Markd because I wanted to understand cause and effect in daily life. Was that coffee 2 hours ago or 5? Did I last eat at 9 or 10? I needed something that showed exactly when things happened and how long ago they were, but I also needed logging to be fast enough not to annoy me. So I built a timeline-first, low-friction, local-first tracker that can also be shared with AI for deeper analysis.
