I build things that live inside Slack. Before Culture Engine, I built GROW AI to 8 figures and a team of 40 with close to zero turnover — in four years, only two people chose to leave. The reason was a habit we started when there were five of us: a shoutouts channel in Slack. When someone did great work, we said so, publicly, right away. Nobody asked us to keep it going.
