Building transparent product discovery

About

I'm building BidGlow, a multilingual public paid leaderboard where verified payments determine rank. I'm interested in product discovery, transparent marketplaces, bootstrapping, and honest experiments in distribution.

No black box: BidGlow opens worldwide today

What if product discovery had no hidden ranking algorithm?

I m the maker of BidGlow. Today we re opening the multilingual website and community to users worldwide. Real payments determine the public rank, outbound clicks are visible, and sponsored positions are presented as sponsored visibility not an editorial best products list.

Two hours to launch: can paid rankings be more honest than algorithms?

I m the maker of BidGlow, launching on Product Hunt in about two hours. This is the first screen of the English homepage.

The experiment is deliberately simple: real payments determine the public rank, outbound clicks are visible, a new listing starts at $5, and upgrading costs only the difference. It is sponsored visibility not an editorial best products list.

Would transparent paid rankings make product discovery more trustworthy?

I m the maker of BidGlow, which launches here tomorrow. I built it around a deliberately visible rule: real payments determine public rank, outbound clicks are visible, a new listing starts at $5, and moving higher costs only the difference. It is sponsored visibility not an editorial best products list.

The question I m trying to answer is whether transparency actually improves trust. Before you would click a paid listing, which signal matters most: the amount behind its rank, visible outbound-click activity, or an unmistakable label on every sponsored position? And what would make you distrust the model immediately?
