What's great
I’ve been testing Refero MCP and few things that worked well for me:
1. The pattern search feels grounded in real products, not just Dribbble‑style shots, so the suggestions are much closer to what I’d actually ship in my product.
2. Letting the agent pull multiple examples and then synthesize a direction makes design reviews faster. I can jump straight into trade‑offs instead of manually collecting screenshots.​​
Overall it already feels like a useful design‑research layer for agents; if you add more goal‑based modes (e.g. “improve trial‑to‑paid onboarding”), I can see myself using it in almost every product review
What needs improvement
Would love to see screen groups and tags refined a bit more over time, and the library updated even more frequently as new SaaS patterns emerge.
