After months of obsessing over the details, we re finally ready to bring InvisOutlet Pro to the Product Hunt community.

If you ve been following our journey from our $160K+ Kickstarter campaign to CES 2025 this is your chance to support us again as we bring InvisOutlet Pro to a bigger audience.

What’s one everyday object you wish someone would reinvent?

Not the sexy stuff like phones or VR headsets I m talking about the boring but essential things we use daily:

Outlets

Shower handles

Light switches

Does anyone else feel like smart home tech forgot about…actual homes? 🏡🤔

So much of smart home feels designed for showy demos, not real spaces. Giant hubs, bulky adapters, light strips you have to hide all in the name of being smart.

When did we decide that cluttered = innovative?

🤔 Why hasn’t smart home tech gone mainstream?

We ve got devices that talk to each other, lights that respond to voice, and thermostats that learn your habits

So why does the smart home still feel like it hasn t clicked for most people?

We ve spent the last year building in this space, and this question keeps coming up, especially outside of early adopter circles.

🚨 Just 3 days left… we’re nearly live!

We re only 3 days away from launching InvisOutlet Pro on Product Hunt, and the excitement is real. It s been incredible hearing your thoughts over the past few weeks, and we can t wait to share the final result with all of you.

If you ve been following along, you know this isn t just another smart outlet or plug.

Have you ever had to “kill” a feature you loved?

As we approach launch day, I ve been reflecting on all the little things that didn t make it into our final product.

You know, the feature you loved, but it just didn t fit the timeline, budget, or experience.

Maybe it broke something else. Maybe it confused people.

Maybe your team just outvoted you

What’s one product trend you’re tired of seeing?

Lately, while building our next product, I ve been thinking a lot about trends in product design, especially the ones that feel a bit overdone.

So I m curious:

What’s the last product that genuinely made you feel excited?

Lately, I ve been thinking a lot about the emotional side of building products. Not just what s functional, but what sparks real excitement.

So I m curious

What’s one problem at home you wish technology could solve?

We (Intecular.com) develop products designed to quietly improve everyday life, and it s had me thinking a lot about the little frustrations we just live with.

So, here s my question:

What everyday object do you think should be “smarter”?

I ve been working on a smart home product (launching soon) that takes something overlooked (outlet) and gives it modern intelligence without adding complexity.

It got me thinking so many everyday things in our homes and lives still feel stuck in the past. So here s my question:

What’s the most "invisible” product you can’t live without?

We re working on smart home tech that aims to be invisible, useful, and quietly perfect in the background.

It s got me thinking

What’s the simplest product you’ve used that genuinely improved your daily life?

I ve been building a smart home product that s meant to quietly improve people s lives without adding complexity, which got me thinking

What s one simple product (physical or digital) that genuinely made your daily life easier, better, or just a bit more enjoyable?

Maybe it s a tool that automates something boring.

What’s a product detail you obsessed over… that nobody noticed?

As a founder building a hardware + app product (InvisOutlet Pro launching soon ), I ve found myself going way too deep on tiny details most people will never think about: icons used in our app, length of screws, even how the packaging folds.

Some of these details make a huge impact others? Maybe just to me

Where did you meet your co-founder(s)?

I've tried a few online venues but none of them worked. If you met with your co-founder(s) online, where was it?

On the whole, I'm interested in education and career advising. Thanks!
