Helping Canadian founders incorporate

About

I’m Margaret Koca, founder of LegalEase. I’m a Ted Rogers alumna, current law student at Lincoln Alexander School of Law, and I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant at TMU. I’m building LegalEase to help early-stage founders understand incorporation, governance, and filing decisions in plain language before they file or speak with a lawyer. My goal is to make startup legal education more accessible for first-time founders, students, freelancers, and entrepreneurs across Canada and the U.S.

LegalEase - Plain-English incorporation for Canadian founders

LegalEase helps Canadian founders understand incorporation before they file. Instead of confusing legal jargon, it guides first-time entrepreneurs through key decisions like Ontario vs federal incorporation, share structure, CRA registration, and required documents. It’s built for founders, freelancers, students, and side-project builders who want clarity before taking the next step. LegalEase is not legal advice — it’s a guided educational workflow that makes incorporation easier to understand.
