I downloaded the Android version this morning and was actually messaging @mcuban. It does feel different than a public Twitter convo obviously, and the need to worry about exact wording isn't there because you know the messages are going away. Like DMs but less likely to be screen cap'd. I haven't tried out the blast feature, but I can see the experience Mark describes.

Their UX is outstanding. Very easy to use. Love the way they educate users about how the app works. I have a hard time coming up with things I would post on Secret but not Twitter, but I'm sure I'll get there.

Agree @rrhoover...would love to know the results of something like this @yongfook. We are also currently evaluating whether or not PR Newswire is worth the cost. I have to assume that personalized outreach works better, but if there are three people out there that will bite on one of these methods that I wouldn't think to reach out to myself, they'd be worth it.

Haha well played @rrhoover. We see predictions about pretty much anything, from sporting event outcomes to when Justin Bieber will get his next DUI to when a friend will propose to his girlfriend. 65% of our content to date has been sports, with entertainment, personal predictions and business predictions following 2, 3 & 4. We just launched private groups so people can make predictions within...

Ha that's a pretty good prediction @nayafia. Right now we're staying out of the interchange game as far as predictions/bets go, but clearly there's an opportunity there for us.

Thanks @liveink! In a lot of ways we combat time by serving as everyone's memory of a prediction. When you make a prediction, you set a resolution date when you expect to know the result. We send a push notification to people when that date is reached (which also helps keep our engagement rates very strong). That's a smart hack you've created. I hadn't seen followup.cc before but just checked...

I'm co-founder of Knoda, a way to keep track of predictions so you can say "I told you so" when they come true and none of your friends remember. Excited to learn about other awesome products here on PH. Thanks @rrhoover for adding me.
