Building MoodMonitr - AI mood tracking

About

Hey, I'm Kyle. I've worked in tech for 17+ years, and for the last year and a half MoodMonitr has been the project I keep coming back to and making progress on. It started when I realized I had tracking and charts for everything in my life except how I actually felt. MoodMonitr is a mood tracker that's simple to use but built to go deep, surfacing patterns you'd never catch day to day. I've been dogfooding it for about a year now. I know what it's done for me, now I'm trying to figure out how to make it just as valuable for others. That's why I'm here. Honest feedback is welcome, especially the critical kind. I'll be checking out other launches too and I'm happy to test things and give feedback as well.

Should founders hide behind the product, or be the face of it from day one?

I used to think staying invisible was the safer move. Let the product do the talking, no personal baggage attached to it. That was my plan for the first year of building.

Then I watched two founders in my own network launch almost identical tools within a month of each other. Same market, similar pricing. The one who'd been posting his half-baked thoughts and failures on Twitter for a year got 10x the traction on launch day. The other one, better product honestly, got maybe 40 upvotes and went quiet.

That messed with my head a bit, not gonna lie.
