Hey! I'm launching YouTube Transcript Exporter here in a couple of days, but wanted to open this thread early.
It's a simple Chrome extension: click it on any YouTube video, get the full transcript instantly clean, timestamped, ready to copy or download as .txt. Built it because I kept manually scrolling through YouTube's transcript panel and got tired of it.
If you deal with video content regularly (research, content writing, note-taking, whatever) curious what would make this actually useful for your workflow. Batch export? Specific formats (Markdown, SRT)? Summarization?
A lightweight Chrome extension that pulls the full transcript from any YouTube video and exports it as clean, ready-to-use text, no fumbling with the Show transcript panel or manually copying timestamped lines
Built for anyone who needs the words, not the video: researchers pulling quotes, writers summarizing talks, students reviewing lectures, or anyone repurposing video content into text
One click on the video page, and the transcript is yours, formatted and ready to paste wherever you need it
Launching Toolstack tomorrow a collection of browser extensions and tested Next.js SaaS starters (invoicing, feature flags, webhooks, usage-based billing, one that ships a real browser extension).
Before launch day, curious what actually matters to people here when evaluating a starter kit: is it the architecture pattern itself, how well-documented the edge cases are, price point, or something else entirely?
Also happy to share specifics on any of the 11 architectures if useful team-based billing vs per-user, CORS setup for browser extensions, HMAC webhook signing, whatever's relevant.
