I co-founded Codebridge in 2021 (US-market custom software development company, Microsoft Partner, ~70 engineers). After five years of building products for clients, we shipped one for ourselves: Lispr, a free Mac voice-to-text app. Hold Option, speak, release. Text appears at the cursor in any app, in ~99 languages, in roughly 300 milliseconds, with no account and no stored audio. The whole app is ~4 MB. First three weeks: 46,011 dictations from 29 countries. Free forever for the first 1,000 users.
