My name is Devin Uhrynchuk, a full-time firefighter in Calgary with over 20 years of frontline service, including as a rescue diver. Helping people during their most critical moments shaped my purpose—but so did building something bigger. I founded Konnect, a dating app for adults 25+ that fuses authentic connection with emotional wellness. No swiping, no ghosting—just verified, real people seeking growth and love. My goal is to redefine online dating, build tech that heals (not harms), and create a safe space where emotional vulnerability is a strength.
