Designer and founder building Selam. I come from a design background, but I build products to solve real problems. Duolingo and big language apps ignored Amharic and African languages entirely, and the existing options were outdated templates. I started Selam to build a real course for Amharic: native audio, Geʽez script, and authentic cultural context. Amharic is just step one.
