Official status or synthetic probes: which signal do you trust first?

I'm building OutageDeck around official provider status feeds, but I do not think an official feed should be the only production signal. Providers can acknowledge incidents late, while synthetic checks can fail because of your own credentials, DNS, region, or deployment.

My current triage model is:

- provider incident + probe failure: strong upstream evidence

- provider operational + probe failure: unclassified failure, investigate our stack and keep watching the feed

OutageDeck - One status page for every service your stack depends on

OutageDeck tracks 172 cloud and SaaS vendors from official feeds, with alerts, history, a free JSON API, and an MCP server your agents can query. Paid accounts can add private Statuspage or Instatus providers, including their own products: no crowdsourcing or scraping.

🏆 The Glaze Awards winners

526 apps in five days. Final results:
Gold, $10,000: The Last Blockbuster by Quinn Zenith
Nobody expected the first Glaze Awards to be won by a game, but this one blew everyone away. Rewind the tape, unlock the truth. There's a surprise appearance in there too.
Silver, $5,000: My Stash by Noman
Photoshop for your macOS folders. Custom folder icons that make your Mac look like yours. One simple thing, done really well.
Bronze, $2,500: Elsewhere by Yann-Edern Gillet
Ambient soundscapes you can layer up and leave running. I've been using apps like this for over a decade and this is the one I'm keeping.
