the world's best text editor, very customizable. Some frustrating API quirks/limitations, but mostly workaroundable. Pros: fast, reliable, easy to customize Cons: not all platforms treated equally by the devs, some bug fixes take a while to arrive

+ easy to use + can show/hide branches / remotes at will + huge time saver - occasionally a few small bugs crop up, but the dev team generally fix these quickly - diff view doesn't highlight intra-line changes Pros: makes working with Git much easier Cons: uses a lot of RAM
