Solo builder making Windows tools

About

I'm a solo developer building practical Windows tools and experimenting with AI-assisted development, automation, and system administration. I'm currently studying software engineering while building real-world projects under the ByteGeist name. My interests include Windows and Linux, homelabs, cybersecurity, AI coding tools, automation, and creating software that solves problems without unnecessary complexity. I'm here to build, learn, ship, and see what other independent developers are creating.

ByteGeist System Dashboard - Read-only Windows diagnostics, right in your terminal

Hey Product Hunt — I'm Keith, and I built ByteGeist because most Windows diagnostic tools are either bloated GUI apps that phone home, or a pile of one-off PowerShell scripts I kept rewriting every time I needed to check a machine. ByteGeist is a portable, read-only terminal dashboard: live CPU/memory/storage/network telemetry, a built-in security Findings Engine, and reports you can export (with sanitization) or diff against an earlier snapshot to see exactly what changed.
