We just launched on Alpha Day, we would appreciate all feedback

Hey everyone! I'm Kamdi, CEO and co-founder of YourLume. Today is a big day for our small team, and we're genuinely excited to be part of Alpha Day.

YourLume is an all-in-one study environment built for learners everywhere. Research across 250M+ papers, AI tutoring, notes, tasks, and focus tools, all in one place. No more juggling 30 tabs to get through a study session.

We're early, and we know it. That's exactly why your feedback matters so much right now. Tell us what you love, what's broken, what's missing, what doesn't make sense. We're building in public, and every comment shapes what comes next.

Just launched in open beta. What actually moved the needle for you in your first 30 days?

I'll start. We launched YourLume just over a week ago, targeting university students and learners everywhere. Early users are genuinely engaged, but getting in front of the right people has been the hardest part. We're trying ambassador programs, Instagram, and community seeding. Some things are sticking, and others aren't. Honestly, still figuring it out, which is why I'm asking.

What worked for you, and what advice would you give an emerging team?

Good at designing. Figuring out the rest as I go.

Hey, I'm Kamdi, CEO and co-founder of Ked-AI, an AI-powered education platform built out of Cambridge.

Our first product, YourLume, just launched in open beta, targeting learners everywhere. It features Ayan, a Socratic AI tutor, alongside note-taking, task management, deep academic search across 200+ databases and 250M+ papers, and focus tools.

How are you dealing with vibe coding security risks in AI-generated code?

I ve been using a lot of AI-generated code lately, and while it definitely speeds things up, security feels like a weak spot.

I ve run into issues like missing auth, exposed endpoints, and weak configs stuff that AI doesn t really flag unless you explicitly ask.

Curious how others are handling this:

  • Do you rely more on manual reviews or tools?

  • Any workflows that consistently catch vulnerabilities?

  • Have you faced any real incidents because of AI-generated code?

🔥 Get more points by launching on Alpha Day

We re trying something new on Thursday: Alpha Day.

The idea is simple. If this is the first time you re launching your product anywhere, you can tag it alpha and get a boost to your points (and land on a special leaderboard).

Building SaaS in 2026: Are you vibecoding your own product or engineering it the "old way"?

I've been a professional developer for 10+ years (WordPress ecosystem, and React, TypeScript, Node, the whole stack).

Now I'm building my own SaaS and I'm genuinely torn.
