Hello all, I recently built a tiny, public chatroom platform. Fully anonymous, no tracing, no logging, no storing messages on the server except temporarily in memory. The chats are cleared if the app restarts, nothing persisted on any disk.
I started this is as a weekend project, and just got obsessed with it! It still is a small project, built in a few weeks. This might be a solution looking for a problem, but usecases are any time when you want a throwaway private chat or even public ones, for short conversations. The messages are not stored on the server either, so much so that, all the messages are cleared if an update (backend) is deployed, since the messages retained are only in memory.
A rather silly usecase I thought of was, if you have to talk to a stranger but you do not want to share your number, social media ID etc.
