When you are just rolling out your new big thing, do you really care about how much money you burn? Do you track your expenses and do you generally plan ahead? Do you set aside some ramen money or just let it roll? Especially if you are bootstrapped? How do you link your revenue and expense?
How do you track your userbase behavior?
I'm spending the weekend doing accounting admin for my company Hustle Crew. Can't pretend I'm looking forward to it, but it must be done! What are you working on?
For me it's always a combination of the following: (1) not feeling ready (2) not feeling like I have spent enough time building an audience/followers around it (3) worried launch will not go as expected. What do you find the hardest?
Hi Makers! Reply to share what you're working on this week, we can keep each other motivated and maybe even help. This week I'm focused on my three interviews for Product Hunt radio and preparing promotions for the new season starting in 2020. What are you working on?
Interested to hear what design tool(s) you're using to make your products, at Product Hunt we use Sketch and I personally love it. But what are you using and what do you love about it? Or do you want to move away into something new?
I suppose all startup founders have experience in creating their business model including purpose, target customers, offerings, strategies, infrastructure, sourcing, trading practices, etc. How did you handle it? Did you use some canvas/tool for help? Do you change/update your business vision?
I am Janis, working on a project to improve the healthy working culture for the companies and for the employees. I would love to hear your thoughts about this topic. Questions regarding this topic https://janisrozenfelds.typeform...
Hello I think it's the best feeling for a Maker when they make their first sale, like when your child attends their first class How long did it take you to reach this goal?
Time to time I've got invited to different organizations and, summarizing the information, I can define the next group of benefits they supply - help to create a successful pitch deck, investigate and assess your idea, etc
- help to find an angel investor
- some of the supply some amount of money for winners At the same time, these programs are paid and they usually request from 1 to 10% of your company. Do you have experience in cooperation with such organizations? Are they worth money and time?
Hola, it's your boy, Noah! Quick story about me. I was employee #30 at Facebook and #4 at Mint. Today, I'm the Chief Sumo of Sumo Group (brands/products include AppSumo.com, Sumo.com, KingSumo, SendFox, and FAM). I also have a popular podcast on business, Noah Kagan Presents.

I am working on Taagly, we are one of the most flexible project management tools on market and we are trying to find our first paying clients.
I am wondering if anyone has any insights on how to best approach this
As a founder of a bootstrapped startup, I don't have the money to hire a big PR firm for paid media coverage. Is it possible to cold email reporters/journalists in the relevant sectors to get organic coverage? Really appreciate anyone here who can share their lessons and wisdom, in particular to the following questions:
1) Is it better to start with a long or short email? (A short email might not be able to tell a differentiated story but no one has the patience to read long emails these days.)
2) What should be my specific ask in the first email? (To connect seems too generic. To cover our company seems too big an ask. To stay in touch seems no action item at all!)
3). What can I offer in return as a startup founder? (Good relationships should always be mutually beneficial. In what ways can a startup founder be helpful to the journalist community? )
It can be tough deciding when to relax and to stop working, the weekend is traditionally meant to be that time but many people work into it including myself. I do have one rule though, I do not work on Sundays, I use that time for family, cooking new recipes and seeing friends. What about you?
I've worked with different software companies and I can say that most of them use it, but is it that effective to hit your target audience and get them as actual conversions? Am not specialized in marketing after all. Marketing people often say that there's different major types of marketing your brand, either by paid ads service or having to get influencers to back you up, the other is manual marketing through community and social media. What do you prefer other than Google AdWords in this sense?
