It has become part of my morning ritual. I listen to BriefCommute on my morning subway ride to work. Love the fact that I can get my daily news straight from my mail app while underground and offline.
vs Alternatives
I just love the simplicity. No apps, no signing in daily, having the podcast emailed straight to me so that I can listen to it offline. I also prefer listening to the news rather than reading it when I’m on the subway. I can also listen to it on days when I’m driving to work.
How accurate is the personalization to my interests?
There’s a good number of categories to choose from, and it gets updated with more categories pretty frequently.

About 10-15 mins on average based on my category selections.
