About

I am the co-founder and COO of Finisterra Labs. We’re building Baselight—a decentralized data hub and analytics platform designed to make structured data discoverable, computable, and monetizable. Baselight removes friction, empowers data providers, and enables seamless cross-querying of structured datasets, all without infrastructure overhead. Before Finisterra, I spent five years at Protocol Labs, where I built up the research division and co-led the ConsensusLab team, which covered the research-to-production pipeline for consensus and scalability research. Before joining the start-up world, I worked as a patent examiner with the European Patent Office. I hold BSc and MSc degrees in Network Engineering, a Robotics PhD from EPFL, and an EE PhD from the University of Lisbon.
