Help me quit Chrome
I've been using @Google Chrome for years and honestly never thought much about changing. It just always seemed like the best and easiest option. Lately though, I've been feeling like maybe I'm missing out. Chrome doesn't feel like the no-brainer pick anymore, and I'm seeing more and more interesting browsers out there.
Currently, @Horse is my top pick. This is the one I'm most interested in trying out, but it also seems like a pretty different approach. I don't necessarily want my productivity to dip, but that may just be inevitable whenever switching.
What do you prefer for brainstorming - Miro, Figjam or other?
Here at Product Hunt, we found that we were slowly shifting away from @Miro and defaulting to @Notion for typing up brainstorming notes during meetings (we use @Tandem so already have built-in breakout rooms, ambient music options and timers).
So we decided to cancel our Miro account and continue to use Notion or switch to a Figjam board if we really needed a sticky notes format (we're already using Figma so it helps reduce the number of tools we are using). *Spoiler alert: we haven't needed to use a sticky note board yet...
Proposal for PH founders
Hey all, I've been in startups for 10 years (my last company Outbound was YC-W15, acquired by Zendesk) but my new company splotch.ink is my first on PH! We launched last week and I was very impressed with the community, feedback and results.
I want to invest in this community, so I'm proposing this idea: I'd love to do 20 min interviews with other founders where we talk through key plays/journeys for your business. I'll diagram them out and write them up as a post that we can use as co-marketing to customers and investors. The emphasis will be on key plays that differentiate you from competitors in your UX and ops. Reply if you're interested.
