Every few months my wife asks where all my important documents are, bank accounts, savings, investments, pensions, insurance, even my will, if the worst were to happen. It’s been a constant worry for her because she knows I’m reliably disorganised. Normally, when she brings up life admin, I feel a mix of guilt and annoyance. I never have a quick answer. It always turns into an entire evening down the drain!
