Run away from this company. I've been a customer for 18+ months, had a few claims from earlier this year when I was sick which included blood test and examinations from GP, another that required x-ray and surgery to my foot after an injury while hiking. It's been over 6 months since the first claim and I've still not heard back after following up on multiple occaisions. The surgery claim was denied but thankfully I had other insurance through my credit card which granted my claim within 24 hours.
The process to submit a claim is also awful, takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. Safetywing is just a front for Tokio Marine Insurance which has terrible reviews. Save your time and money and go with a proper company like Allianz (the insured my credit card used which responded within 24 hours).
