Hey everyone, a little more detail :-) I really believe it pays (in 2018) for all developers (and especially those of use who've spent most of our time doing "back-end development") to understand the fundamentals for front-end development. I wrote this because I don't think you need to spend weeks studying front-end to feel more confident when you encounter something written in Javascript!...
