I built AlwaysWith.us to make every memory feel whole again ❤️

This photo is of my son, my dad, and my brother.
However, my dad and my brother passed away more than 10 years before my son was born.
I lost them both when I was barely 21.
My dad died a couple years after having a very serious heart attack that left him unable to continue caring for himself.
My older brother tragically committed suicide less than six months later.
Since then I've had more than my fair share of encounters with the loss of close loved ones. So it goes to say that if there's one thing I understand about grief and loss: it's that the special moments in our lives always bring about a certain reminder of the people that aren't there anymore to enjoy it with us.
These experiences led me to build AlwaysWith.us.
Over the years of trying to honor and remember so many people I ve lost, and hitting milestone after milestone without them. I kept wishing for something more. A mug, an old snapshot, even an expensive hand-painted portrait they re all meaningful, but none of them felt like they captured what I was yearning for. Nothing, in my opinion, offered what AlwaysWith.us now makes possible.
As AI technology evolved, I tinkered with things here and there. I even custom-trained models on photos of my brother, which was incredible but way too technical and time-consuming for the average person. I wanted something faster, more accessible, and capable of creating results that genuinely felt beautiful.
With over 15 years of software engineering experience; on a path I began for my own sanity and purpose just months after my brother passed. I entered the @Half Baked @bolt.new hackathon and decided it was finally time to bring this idea to life.
Almost as if on cue, right after I got the app into a really strong place, Google released a new wave of AI models. Integrating them pushed AlwaysWith.us from promising to, in my opinion, something truly remarkable. Over the past week, as I built and tested and sent images to friends and family, it s sparked buckets of tears, quiet moments, and huge smiles. Now I m ready to put it in your hands and get feedback from anyone willing to try it.
I'm launching on Product Hunt this Sunday, but I wanted to reach out to this community first because you understand the power of building something that matters. Would you try it? Sign-ups are live for early access,You get 5 free generation credits when you sign up which allows for (10) 1K/2K resolution images OR (5) 4K resolution images
As well I will be happy to give bonus generations to anyone who gives us feedback before launch day. And the Product Hunt launch will go live with a 50% off code for any purchase, whether it's for a monthly subscription, a credit pack, or even a print order
Please try it out and let me know what you think at alwayswith.us
I'll be answering every question/feedback personally.
One other very important note with this project:
I will be donating 25% of all profits from this app to suicide prevention and awareness charities in perpetuity.
