John Broekman was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up in the Sunshine State shaped his easygoing nature and interest in learning from his surroundings. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, where he developed a strong sense of involvement and a drive to grow both academically and socially. After high school, he moved to Fort Myers to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, where he pursued a degree in Business Management. While there, he joined a fraternity, which introduced him to leadership within a group and the value of shared goals. After completing his first year, he returned to Jacksonville and transferred to the University of North Florida. He became more involved in fraternity leadership, rising to the third-highest position within the organization.
