@glenleka @plo_seth @alicia_sutton FYI "Shiva" is the name of a major Hindu god. Naming Naming a product by nonchalantly stealing from the name of a God for more than 1 billiong people smacks of casual and blatant racism. Simply googling this would have been easy enough but its clear that the founders were too lazy to even do this or care. Imagine the outcry is this was named "The Allah" or...

@contactdq @michael_bratschi @christie_wragg @ireither Signed up for this as a heavy user of Twilio. So many issues with this product and the team that I dont really know where to start: 1. The customer service is abysmal. They specifically tout this as a differentiator from Twilio but the internal intercom integration doesnt even work. First time ever I see a company failing intercom...

This is an interesting take on knowledge gathering and how best to use the latter. Traditionally, the approach has been either to use search(i.e. Google or Algolia) or the use of collections(so many on PH e.g. Startup Stash with their 18K upvotes). UseFYI is an ingenious hybrid: it uses both. The genius of this Marketing Resources List is that is naturally promotes the underlying service by...

I was excited to test this out thinking there was some revolutionary new product or chemical behind the product. Sorely disappointed to see that the core components are melatonin for the gummies, valerian for the tea and chamomille for the spray. I actually use these so I know the prices quite well: no more than $3 for the gummies(30 days), $3 for the valeria, and $4 for chamomille essential...

The perfect marriage of form and function: 1. Form: super dope website in which the user is immediately brought into the idea being conveyed by nice visuals and simple yet functional progress. 2. Function: to raise awareness AND to DO something about it. Most environment sites simply act as echo boards, reflecting what we already know: we need to reduce waste. This one actually provides a...

Reviewer is a Maker who did not even put an appropriate disclaimer. Hunter is also a Maker. Ummm...So I was excited about the product but once I went to the site, red flags started popping up. First off there is no address anywhere. I looked into the terms and conditions and even there no address. Worse it did not make clear which jurisdictional law would apply to the product. Was it NJ or NY?...

First off the CMS backend is nothing more than a Wordpress site. There are some nice templates but they are very barebones. Generally, though the idea is sound but the execution is terrible. In this age where we already have fully functional platforms such as GumRoad or even Paypal Pay Me pages, Leeflets Pay Me feels more like a rapid add-on than a market ready system. For example, I spent over...

@sergio_villasenor Early adopter of Elliot all the way to you guys becoming a Stripe Verified Partner a few weeks ago. But in my opinion the $99/month is VERY steep. The same services are after all completely free for GumRoad or any number of other platforms. Also regarding pricing: I have looked high and low and nowhere in the website or FAQs is there any mention of the fees. I had to find out...

Good idea. Terrible execution. Lost 30 minutes trying to get a domain(should be able to automatically tell you whether a domain is available or not without having to keep pressing "Enter"). Worse: after finding a domain and tweeting (repeatedly) the system does not detect the tweet and hence no domain registered. Bottom-line: probably a bait and switch where the user tweets for free and gets...
