For years I've been frustrated about how hard it is to open the Adobe Flash (.swf) files that I've collected from random reaches of the internet. So I decided to build electron-swf-player, which makes opening Flash files one click. It's open source and available for download at https://github.com/JoeDuncko/electron-swf-player . Currently it only supports macOS, but I may make other builds if...

Cool, but note you can just do most of this with Chrome! Just hit Options>Cast.

I've spent the last couple weeks playing through FFX and found myself asking my Google Assistant for help with puzzles and how certain items worked more than once. Most of the time it didn't go great. Not sure if I'd pay for a service like this, or go out of my way to install it, but I'd definitely love if this was built into my consoles or my Google Assistant.

Passwords don't belong in emails and text messages, where they are vulnerable. Share Securely gives you a custom URL where your clients can quickly and securely input their credentials.

I've been waiting for something like this - but would really really like it cloud synced. Most of the time when I need this info I'm on the go.

I dig the monster art style, but my JRPG grinding days are pretty much over. Might give it a try once it's on iPhone to get a feel for the gameplay, but I probably won't stick with it.

I'm definitely in the market for a personal CRM, but that pricepoint is a little tough. I just wish Google would add a comments section to Contacts, then I might not need one...

A local Ohio startup has been working on something like this for the past year. Crazy to see Airbnb taking a shot at this as well.

I spent yesterday playing with Parsec and was super impressed with the latency. If Stadia is the next step forward, then I'm in, especially at this price point. I never want to own another gaming computer again. Until November comes, though, I might have to build a Pi into a Parsec thin client to hold me over...

If Teenage Engineering has a part in it, I want it. Everything they make is so... quirky and fun.

Didn't this exist before? Google Goggles or something like that? Different featureset (I'm sure this is more advanced), but same mechanic. Interesting that they made a new brand instead of updating the old one.

I started using Hyper for a couple months, but stopped because I hit some cases where it slowed down on me too much. Excited to try it again!

I used to write a gaming blog and had a couple companies paying us money to show ads. Wish this existed then to power that process!

I dig this. Excited at the speed boost and the ability to share what I'm working on. Pros: I like the collaborative aspect, but my favorite part is that it loads so much faster than the old PH new tab page! Cons: Images for the products are smaller - makes it more difficult to make first impressions

Hi @ok_samandar , I think the confusion here is because the product is breaking sometimes. Sometimes clicking "Try for Free" takes me to your product, sometimes it just takes me to your newsletter signup. I think the hunters here who are confused are seeing the latter.

I would love to find more content that connects product / user facing stuff to market-level stuff. Pros: Really insightful product posts from a VC perspective (you don't normally see this!) The pictures themselves are a hip pastel Cons: I don't use Instagram, and it doesn't seem like Insta has an RSS feed
