Back in April, I went down to DUPR college pickleball nationals with my cofounder Rob. We wanted to talk to players about our app, SetPoint, and how we could improve group chatting for them using our AI tools.

What we heard surprised us: group chatting wasn't the biggest problem. Connection was. Staying in touch with each other was the real pain. Players graduate, transfer, take a break from playing, travel to a new city for an internship, go home for the summer and they lose touch with each other and their club captains. And that's all just within one club.

It's a very familiar and frustrating problem: you graduate college, move to a city like New York, and all of a sudden you can't find anyone to play pickleball, tennis, or padel with at your level. SetPoint keeps you in touch with friends, classmates, and teammates so your network travels with you. Still can't find anyone? Get suggestions based on who has played at your local court in the last 60 days. After the game, SetPoint automatically generates a social post for you (like Strava) so players stop falling out of touch and can easily challenge one another to the next match.
