Hey, I'm João Albino, one of Soko's Joões! 👋 I spent 12 years abroad and explored 50+ countries, and everywhere I hit the same wall: even in cities buzzing with life, finding local activities, places, and like-minded people was surprisingly hard. The good stuff stayed hidden and fragmented. That's why I'm building Soko, an app to make local discovery easier and get people genuinely active in their communities. I believe AI, built intentionally, should create connection, not more disconnection. Previously co-founded Urbvan, a shared-mobility startup in Latin America that scaled well and was acquired.
