I've been using D5 Render for a while now, mostly alongside my work in Blender and SketchUp. What impressed me the most right from the start is how fast and easy it is to get high-quality renders—without spending hours tweaking settings or waiting forever for the render to finish. The ease of use is definitely one of its strongest points.
I’m working on an AORUS 15 laptop with an RTX 2060, and honestly, the performance D5 delivers with this setup is amazing. It handles heavy scenes smoothly and responds quickly, which lets me test out ideas and visuals in real time—something that used to be a lot more tedious with more traditional render engines.
I'm not a professional 3D artist, but I do have experience with visualization and I care about the details. D5 has allowed me to get visually impressive results without needing to be an expert in lighting or physically-based materials. The integration with SketchUp, especially, is very smooth and makes it easy to use for presentations or refining concepts quickly.
Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but for someone like me—who values practicality, speed, and solid results—D5 is absolutely worth it.
