Let just hope that this is not another "Lima", that was totally messed up. Pros: Privacy, privacy and privacy. It is always better to host files at your place if you have good internet connection. Cons: It is hard for such hardware company to survive without ongoing monthly fee, and without software update it will be obsolete in no time.

Interesting, this makes me think of Manything, a simpler version of course. Do you have any plan to offer the cloud recording in the future and how reliable is it? (eg: reconnect after a disconnection)

Having tried many of these products, I can only confirm that the Belkin one works with the microphone input through the headphones, the rest simply lack the chips/technology to handle audio input and only allow output mode. So you might want to be careful about this as well :D
