Memento Mori is Latin for "remember that you will die" and is the practice of reflecting on one's own mortality. This Chrome extension will display a random quote about death in every new tab. New quotes added weekly! Submissions welcome.

I was inspired by a similar app that generated quotes to remind oneself of one's own mortality to encourage people to be more reflective about their lives. As someone studying stoic philosophy, I've personally found it to be helpful in reminding myself of what's really important in life. Made with AWS Lambda + Vanilla JS.

Curious how this is better than Apple’s keyboard...I typed “the white house” and Grammarly did not format as a proper noun whereas Apple did?

Congrats on the launch! Biggest concern is the name. Possibly the most difficult keyword to optimize w.r.t ASO. How are you going to get the app to the top of the App Store when users search for "Free"?

Surprised Facebook connect isn't involved in this somehow...wouldn't that data provide a better picture of who you are and your personality? Something tells me Facebook could easily put together a matching algo to do this today :)

It's a place to share awkward Tinder conversations, late night UberPOOL adventures, news snippets from The New York Times, and embarrassingly high scores on Kim Kardashian:Hollywood. I built the app out of frustration for what I saw was the poor treatment of mobile screenshots across...
